Background
We are looking for a skilled digital communications professional to join the Department of Marketing and Communications.

The Role
The main purpose of the role is to support the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing in maximising their digital content, particularly within the Canterbury Christ Church University website.

The Content Editor will work with colleagues in the Department of Marketing and the Faculty to ensure that the University continually improves audience’s online experience by producing high quality digital content in support of our student recruitment and profile building opportunities.

Requirements
You will have a solid background in creating and managing digital content, working with colleagues and stakeholders across all levels of an organisation. Using excellent copywriting and editing skills, and knowledge of multi-media communication, you will be able to develop a range of content types for various channels, including website, social media and delivery through the University’s Salesforce-based CRM system.

You will be educated to first degree level (or equivalent), and have exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

You will have excellent analytical skills in order to review existing web models and develop strategies for continually improving online performance, including use of web analytics and search engine optimisation techniques. You will be able to work independently as well as within a wider team environment, and have strong organisational and time management skills.
