Lecturer in Inclusive Education

This position is available on the Research and Teaching track or Learning, Teaching and Scholarship track.

For appointment on the Research and Teaching track:

To undertake high-quality research relating to inclusive education; to actively contribute to inclusive education programmes and courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering an excellent student experience through teaching, assessment and administration processes; and to undertake administration as required by the Head of Subject / Head of School.

For appointment on the Learning, Teaching and Scholarship track:

To actively contribute to inclusive education programmes and courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering an excellent student experience through teaching, assessment and administration processes; to undertake high quality scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Education; and to undertake administration as required by the Head of School.

Standard Terms & Conditions

The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 7/8, £34,520 - £38,833 / £42,418 - £49,149 per annum.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities' Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.

The successful applicant of this post will be enrolled onto the University’s Early Career Development Programme (ECDP). This will provide for you as an early career academic staff member to be developed and supported over a specified timeframe to facilitate the advancement of your academic career.

New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.

For appointment on the Research and Teaching track:
