Senior Programme Administrator

The Senior Programme Administrator (SPA) is a member of the Academic Support Team (AST) within the Institute’s Professional Services Team.

The Professional Services Team is led by the Institute Manager and is responsible for student recruitment, academic administration, human resources (including recruitment), marketing and communications, and finance.

The AST is managed and led by the Academic Support Manager, and is responsible for administering the taught and research student lifecycles (including, inter alia, admissions, enrolment, module registration, assessment and progression), quality assurance, management and enhancement (including annual and periodic reviews of programmes), curricular development (including the annual programme review cycle and development of new programmes) and providing effective administrative support for learning and teaching and programme delivery.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy customer-focused HE or comparable environment, using tact and diplomacy to deal with everyday issues, and in maintaining complex electronic records and querying databases.

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,635 - £41,864 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
