In this role you will provide technical support to members of the research team to facilitate the progress of the mesothelioma research programme. This will primarily involve conducting molecular diagnostic immunohistochemistry, supporting the biobanking of clinical trial tissue, ensuring that appropriate records and documentation is maintained and assisting with the execution of experiments, working in cooperation with the NHS pathology laboratories.

The ideal candidate will be educated to NVQ2 level with some prior technical experience and a good knowledge of laboratory practice. You will be responsible for planning your own workload to meet the aims of the project and must be able to produce data to a standard suitable for publication.
