Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Wireless Network Theory

We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join Oxford Communications Research Group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). The post is funded by EPSRC and is fixed-term to 5 October, 2018.

The aim of the project is to investigate trust and security in random graphs with application to wireless communication networks. This project will involve mostly theoretical calculation and modelling.  You will be responsible for the inception, development and execution of research related to spatially embedded networks, and for liaising with senior academics as well as postdoctoral and graduate researchers to maintain a smooth flow of information and ideas between project partners.

You should possess a PhD/DPhil (or be near completion), together with relevant experience; you will need a proven research track record in network theory with the ability to manage your own research and associated activities; excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results are also essential.
