Clinical Teaching /Training Fellow in Medical Education (Assessments)

UCL Medical School is looking for a Clinical Teaching Fellow to support the delivery of high quality medical education. The postholder will develop written and clinical assessments at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. They will participate in the Panel of Examiners and Examination Board meetings as well as participating in the quality assurance of UCL Medical School.

The post holder will also contribute to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programme, the department's research program and the department's public engagement, education consultancy (MSEC) and outreach programmes. The post holder will contribute to the written and practical assessments, including standard setting process. They will participate in the development, planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of the postgraduate courses including the Training to Teach, Foundation programme teaching and staff development courses.

The post will be for a duration of 1 year, in the first instance.

The successful candidate will have a Medical degree, enrolment in an approved training programme, and GMC full registration.

They will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and have proven ability and commitment to teach in a clinical and non-clinical setting. Candidates without a National Training Number will be appointed as a Clinical Teaching Fellow grade CL7 (salary £34,962 - £43,522 per annum) pro rata inclusive of London Allowance.
