Job Purpose

To actively contribute to educational leadership programmes and courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering an excellent student experience through teaching, assessment and administration processes; to undertake high quality scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Education; and to undertake administration as required by the Head of Subject / Head of School.

The post is offered on a 36 month fixed term contract.

The salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 7 or 8 , £34,520 - £38,833 / £42,418 - £49,149 per annum.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities' Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.

Probation Period

The successful applicant of this post will be enrolled onto the University’s Early Career Development Programme (ECDP). This will provide for you as an early career academic staff member to be developed and supported over a specified timeframe to facilitate the advancement of your academic career.
