Team Leader (Support & Advice) - CG1626ML

We are looking for a confident self-starter to take on the management of our Support and Advice team which handles all contractual changes for academic, research, and professional staff throughout the University. The team also provides first line support and advice to members of staff, regarding a wide range of HR policies and processes.

You will have a good education, experience of team supervision and proven ability to lead on improving processes and delivering first class customer service at all levels. You will have experience of working in a fast-paced office and have a proven track record of delivering against tight deadlines and managing shifting priorities. Experience of working in a busy HR department will be an advantage, as will experience of working within the Higher or Further Education sectors.

In 2019 the University will establish purpose built office accommodation at Eden Campus, Guardbridge by St Andrews, to provide a state of the art working environment for a number of our Professional Services Units. It is anticipated that up to 350 Professional Services staff from a range of Units will be based in the new development at Guardbridge.

This post will be primarily based at Guardbridge from 2020.
