The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be Grade 7 £38,581 - £41,863 per annum / Grade 8 £43,023 - £50,753 per annum. Plus £10,000 Market Supplement per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The UCL School of Management is looking for a full-time Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow in the field of Business Analytics, who is able to make a substantial academic and leadership contribution to the School’s MSc in Business Analytics (https://www.mgmt.ucl.ac.uk/msc-business-analytics-specialisation-management-science).

The post-holder will be expected to manage and teach a variety of modules relating to the effective development, deployment and management of business analytics, together with postgraduate dissertation supervision, personal tutoring, and wider enabling and knowledge exchange roles.

The post holder will be expected to work across the full calendar year. Normally 60% of time is spent teaching, preparing assessments, marking, and module organization (including management of any teaching assistants where required). 40% of time is spent on School and UCL activities including, illustratively, internal examining and moderating, personal tutoring, serving on committees and sub-committees, outreach activities, and scholarship and knowledge exchange activities.

This position is available from 1st May 2018.

It is expected all applicants will have solid knowledge of theory and practice and hold a Masters degree in the area of business analytics. For consideration of appointment at Senior Teaching Fellow level, it is expected that an applicant will have a PhD or equivalent Doctorate or equivalent professional qualification.
