University of Liverpool - Student Administration and Support Division (SAS) - Counselling and Mental Health Advisory Service

We are seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced practitioner with a specialist mental health background and professional training in nursing, social work or clinical psychology. You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) and hold current accreditation by or registration with a relevant professional body. This post will enable the University to further develop effective support for students with complex mental health issues, including those in crisis, and will contribute to the work already being undertaken in the Service. Mental Health Advisors act as a central focus for both external agencies and members of staff and students involved in supporting the students experiencing mental health problems, and provide training, advice and guidance for staff.
