Communications Manager

The Faculty of Education seeks to appoint a Communications Manager. This is a new post in the Faculty.

The post holder will develop, implement and evaluate a communications strategy for the Faculty of Education in order to support its strategic plan and promote the Faculty's profile to a range of stakeholders. In the first instance, there will be an emphasis on support for the Faculty's research strategy but over time the post holder is expected to engage flexibly with a broad strategic remit to respond to the evolving needs of the Faculty.

We are seeking to appoint a person who can demonstrate experience of developing communication strategies and of creating a variety of communications across a range of media. The field of education can be one of rapid change, and is subject to external pressure and regulation; we are seeking to appoint a person who can understand current issues in education and who is able to work proactively within this environment.
