Salary: £26,495 to £28,936 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post based at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (City Hospital and Queen's Medical Centre). The Clinical Trials Researcher will recruit patients to clinical trials and studies; most of these assessing pharmaceutical or rehabilitation interventions.

Candidates should have a degree (or equivalent) in psychology, nursing or a relevant healthcare profession, together with the appropriate UK professional qualification - NMC Registration (Nursing & Midwifery Council). Experience in clinical research and studies (ideally in stroke) with the ability to work with a team, but also independently to manage a caseload of patients and trial documentation is also essential for this role.

This full-time post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2019. A secondment from the NHS may be possible subject to agreement from the candidate's manager prior to application.

The interview will take place on the 10th April 2018.

Out of hours work will be required from as early as 8.00am and as late as 8.00pm, with weekend working on a rota with other Clinical Trial Researchers. Some travel in the UK will also be required.
