Senior Admissions Officer

We are looking to recruit an experienced Admission Officer to the new post of Senior Admissions Offer (Widening Participation) to work in our central undergraduate admissions team, which manages applications to programmes across UCL.

Your duties will include: providing support for admissions via the ‘Access UCL’ scheme; researching, monitoring and reporting on widening participation nationally and across the sector; analysing and reporting on admissions widening participation data for colleagues at UCL; identifying and tracking applicants who have participated in UCL schemes and advising staff of the schemes; and supporting the development of UCL’s research and potential use of contextual data in undergraduate admissions and selection.

You will have experience of admissions in a higher education setting including the assessment of applications.  You will have excellent organisational skills and experience of working with data and producing statistical-based reports with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. The nature of the work requires you to have good interpersonal skills with a tactful and diplomatic approach to communication.
