We are seeking to appoint a Head of Delivery to lead on the delivery of externally funded enterprises projects. Working in partnership with Faculties the post holder will lead on all activities relating to the delivery of projects where external funding has been secured ensuring projects are delivered to funders specification with appropriate pre and post award project support and guidance to ensure the Project Manager successfully delivers the project.

You will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and have significant experience of running financial systems / monitoring / administering project records (either financial or non-financial). You will have extensive experience of managing teams, matrix management and managing budgets with the ability to set goals and work independently. You will have experience of the external funding environment including substantial experience and detailed knowledge of National and European funding and funding requirements associated.

You will have considerable project management skills and have significant evidence of working with others and senior level experience of managing delivery of several projects over £1m in value including those funded by local, national and international agencies such as ESIF, Innovate UK, Local Growth Fund and other relevant funding bodies.

You will have excellent networking, interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, negotiate, persuade and influence others and a high degree of self-motivation. You will have highly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to write strategy / policy documents and deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences. You will also possess effective planning and project management skills, as well as advanced IT skills.
