Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate (qualitative research) to join a team of academics, software developers and healthcare professionals and contribute to a qualitative evaluation of AI decision-making in mental health. The primary aim of this 2-year project is to evaluate the efficacy and compatibility of the Management and Supervision Tool (MaST) provided by Holmusk, which is the first data-driven and AI-enabled decision support tool for clinicians in the adult Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) of the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH).
The postholder will lead the qualitative assessment of the acceptability of MaST amongst CMHT staff in GMMH. This will entail conducting qualitative interviews with CMHT staff, as well as non-participant observations of CMHT staff to understand how MaST is used in mental health practices. They will lead the qualitative data collection and analysis and will draft reports and manuscripts.
As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of age, sex, gender (or gender identity), ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status. All appointments are made on merit.
