The Strathclyde Institute of Education seeks to appoint a Teaching Fellow (Education Studies) from 1st June 2024 until 28th June 2025 as maternity cover.

FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)

Term: Fixed Term (1 June 2024 to 28 June 2025)

The Strathclyde Institute of Education seeks to appoint a Teaching Associate (Education Studies) for maternity cover. The Strathclyde Institute of Education at the University of Strathclyde is the largest provider of teacher education in Scotland. We have a range of courses at national and international level that focus on initial and qualified teacher education at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The successful candidate will have academic experience that allows them to contribute to the Education Studies component of initial and post-graduate teacher education, and Education Studies more broadly. The candidate should be able to supervise Masters-level students in their dissertations. While this is a fixed-term post, we anticipate that the post-holder will play a full part in the life and activity of the Institute.
