The Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated graduate with a “can-do” attitude to join our dynamic team at the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic for one year from August 2024 as a graduate research practitioner. The role can be viewed as a salaried internship to provide the candidate with varied and high-quality experience of clinical research in preparation for further study or employment.
Working with a supportive multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, allied health professionals and scientists, the post-holder will recruit people to, and manage data for, research studies on neurological diseases such as dementias, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and motor neuron disease.
This graduate internship is offered annually and provides an opportunity for those in the early stages of their career to gain experience and insight into a wide range of clinical research studies. It has proven remarkably successful as a springboard into PhD, medicine and dentistry studies as well as industry employment.
Informal enquiries should be addressed to Judy Newton (Judith.Newton@ed.ac.uk), Anne Rowling Clinic Deputy Director.
