Part-Time hours are available for this role. Candidates will work during term time and, whilst should be available for the full College day and a minimum of 3 days per week, there is flexibility within timetables to fit around other commitments.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants with kind and caring natures to guide our students through their vocational studies. If you enjoy baking bread, grooming a horse or building a brick wall then working at Moulton College may be the career path for you.
Through supporting our students as they develop skills in academic and practical lessons you will receive huge Job satisfaction and work in a role where the classroom is predominantly outdoors. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the campus while you work.
The job role involves working with highly skilled tutors in various courses such as Animal Care, Construction and Sports Management. You may be required to venture outside the College campus with the tutor and students with day trips to a zoo, a museum, a cake show or simply a visit to the shop. This is all part of the varied curriculum. You will be supporting students with their educational needs to ensure they succeed and reach their full potential in their chosen course.
At Moulton College our primary focus is making sure all our students become the best independent learners they can be. The Learning Support Assistants guide and offer support to students. As a valued member of the Foundation Learning Team, you can make a real difference to the outcomes of the students we support.
Candidates will need a good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent), and be enthusiastic and positive about supporting young people to fulfil their potential.
