To support our strategic plans for future developments, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to enhance the excellence in teaching and research or scholarship in Animation within DJCAD. The successful candidate would be expected to take an active role in the teaching of our successful Animation programme and our PG programme. This position will be either Teaching & Scholarship (T&S) or Teaching & Research (T&R). It will be decided in consultation with the successful applicant.
You will contribute to the development of the teaching, scholarship and research agendas, philosophy and strategies of the institution. Possessing considerable knowledge of the subject domain, you should be a team player, as well as demonstrating commitment and drive. You will enable students to develop and enhance t heir capacity to nurture their creative development and understanding in animation as a core creative practice, and to engage at an international level with peers in the creative industries and Higher Education. You will be expected to support colleagues in the strategic development of the core discipline.
