Description of Post
This post relates primarily to teaching and clinical practice on the MSc and BSc in Clinical Measurement Physiology programmes within the School of Science.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake lecturing and associated duties (on-site and online) pertaining to a range of modules up to and including Level 9 within the School/Faculty, with special emphasis on Clinical Measurement Physiology including, Professional Practice, Clinical Practice Clinical Measurement, Physiology and Anatomy, Pathology, Medical Instrumentation, Exercise Physiology, and Health Sciences.

Qualifications
Applicants must, as a minimum, hold an BSc (hons) at 2.2 or better in Clinical Measurement science/physiology or equivalent as per the requirements of the professional body and an MSc in a cognate health area.
Applicants must have a minimum of three years post-qualification clinical experience in Clinical Measurement Physiology, and have a working knowledge of Clinical Measurement physiology/Clinical Physiology, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of a clinical-facing post, which would include demonstrable work/training undertaken in a relevant clinical setting.
Applicants must have up-to-date knowledge and skills in Clinical Measurement/Clinical Physiology and have no legal or other impediment that would affect their ability to practice safely and effectively in an academic or clinical setting.

Lecturer Salary Scale €63,518 to €98,278 (11 points)
Candidates may be considered for incremental credit above point 1 of the scale for previous relevant industry experience in accordance with University Policy.
