We are now looking for two Reception Assistants to join our Student Services team at our Swansea campus, one on a full time basis, working 37 hours per week and one on a part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week, on a Permanent basis.
- THE ROLE –
The role of the Reception Assistant (RA) will work according to the agreed principles of the Reception team. You will provide a polite and friendly customer-focused service, playing an integral role in the front facing support to all visitors at UWTSD locations and over the phone.
The role will involve dealing with queries from staff, students, contractors and other visitors via telephone, email and at the reception desk locations. You will be responsible for dealing with the queries at point of contact, where possible, or forward to the relevant department when necessary. You will be expected to deal with routine enquiries and requests for information independently.
You will be expected to work effectively and pro-actively, without supervision at times. An essential part of the role will be to provide excellent front of house support. You will be line managed by the Principle Administrative Officer (PAO) and will work closely with the wider reception team across UWTSD’s Wales campuses. The role will involve collaboration with the Hwb and other Professional Units across the University. You will be required to place a strong emphasis on customer service and being a great ambassador for UWTSD.
