We are seeking to appoint a Technology Officer who can demonstrate relevant experience with websites and academic learning environments. You will be expected to manage, develop and enhance the IATL website which is a key tool for disseminating information about IATL’s work both within the University and externally. Responsibilities will also include managing IT-related aspects of IATL projects carried out by staff within IATL, overseeing IATL’s technical equipment, assisting IATL with the evaluation of its activities through impact assessments and data evaluation and liaising between IATL, IT Services and the wider Warwick community to enhance teaching and research practices through the use of academic technology.
For informal enquiries, please contact Jo Wale (j.r.wale@warwick.ac.uk).
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
You will have an undergraduate degree and IT experience, preferably at an advanced level, in a variety of software packages. You will have experience in working in Higher Education, excellent copywriting skills and an eye for details. Website editing skills, ideally using Warwick’s Sitebuilder package, and the ability to prepare a variety of media for use on the web, will be essential.
