An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Lead to join CivicUEA to plan and deliver a Civic Forum with the purpose of building networks, creating momentum and strengthening relationships. You will create a marketing and event strategy designed to meet CivicUEA objectives, notably to improve awareness and engagement with the university as a Civic Institution.
The Project Lead will coordinate across the university as well as externally to ensure that the relevant stakeholders are aware of partnership opportunities offered by the forum. You will also prepare for evaluation of Civic Forum impact.
You should have a good standard of education and experience in a directly relevant role. You should have experience in project management as well as managing budgets and procurement. You will have excellent communication skills and a keen interest in the role of universities as Civic Institutions.
You will need be able to work using your own initiative, within the CivicUEA Team, and have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
This part-time (0.6FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis for a period of three months.
A secondment will be considered, and applicants should please ensure that a secondment will be possible with their Line Manager/Head of Department, before submitting a formal application.
