Come and be part of the award-winning Department of Estates & Facilities Management (EFM) at the University of Sheffield. EFM is responsible for maintaining the University’s building, facilities, and grounds, managing its property, facilities and procuring new buildings for a leading Russell Group institution.
The University’s estate contains a wide and varied range of properties which understandably present their own challenges. Some, such as the Arts Tower, are of great architectural importance and must be preserved as part of our national heritage, whilst others such as the award-winning Information Commons and the Students’ Union are modern and sophisticated in their design and servicing. We are committed to delivering and supporting excellent customer focussed services and to do this we need to recruit the best staff, invested in higher education, and dedicated to supporting sector leading learning, teaching and research – and that’s why we need you…
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work in a stimulating environment within a department that supports the University’s core business of teaching and research. You will work within the Department of Estates & Facilities Management (EFM), Property and Business Services section in the Print and Creative Services (PCS) team; we are looking for someone with excellent IT skills and the ability to manipulate digital files to produce high quality professional printing to the University of Sheffield staff, students, and affiliated companies. You will be working within a print production environment that presents an opportunity to collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals including Graphic Designers, Service Managers, and the Examination Team. As a Print Technician you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that gives you the opportunity to contribute ideas to make improvements to the way we deliver the service.
