Research Associate (Fixed Term)

The purpose of this role is to support and maintain the University's national and international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. Contribution to excellence in research will be as a member of a project financed by the British Academy (" Combining Spatial and Temporal Work as a Source of Resilience: An Organisational Perspective on How the French Resistance took the Maquis (1940-1944)" under the direction of Thomas Roulet as a principal investigator to include data collection, analysis and some interpretation.

The ideal candidate should have a PhD in relevant specialist subject or working towards a PhD (close to graduation), research experience with sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques. The ideal candidate should also be driven and committed, as well has good time management and planning skills,

This role is Fixed Term for 6 months and is a full-time position working 37 hours per week. There will be a six-month probationary period. Holiday entitlement is 33 days per annum plus eight days of public holidays. The salary will be in the range £33,966 - £44,263 per annum. This is a fixed term appointment for 6 months.  Holiday entitlement is 33 days per annum plus eight days of public holidays.
