We are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Scientist interested in Immunology and RNA biology to join Martin Turner’s laboratory at the Babraham Institute.
This position will investigate the role of translational mechanisms in B-lymphocytes regulating differentiation and effector function that underpin immunity and immunological memory. The postholder will build on our recent findings using novel reagents, methods developed in the lab and by adopting new methods to investigate cell fate pathways.
We are an established research team within the Immunology Programme at the Babraham Institute. Working at the interface of Immunology and RNA biology fields, we value grass-roots leadership, creative thinking, and collaborative approaches to research.
The Babraham Institute is world-renowned for its research in life sciences and the post-holder will benefit from exceptional research facilities, the collegial environment of the Institute and the wider scientific research community in the Cambridge area.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline, and their expertise may include previous work in RNA biology and/or Immunology fields, high-throughput sequencing and/or cell imaging.
This is limited term appointment with funding available for a period of 2 years in the first instance.
