An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Maintenance Manager (Direct Labour) to join the Estates and Facilities Directorate
You will support the Head of Maintenance in the delivery of a sustainable, efficient and effective Maintenance Service, delivering value for money with a strong focus on our customers, the UEA community. You will line manage our in-house maintenance team and will work with the Resource Coordinator to plan a programme of planned and reactive maintenance works including the allocation of team resources. As we implement a new operating model you will support the change process and provide support, technical guidance and professional development to the team.
You will need to demonstrate and evidence substantial experience in the management of direct labour, a background in managing change in the workplace and of delivering innovation and best practice and a successful record of performance and people management.
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis for 18 months.
