An exciting opportunity for an ambitious senior academic leader to join the Faculty of Health at the University of Sheffield to support the development of the Faculty’s MPharm programme. This will align closely with the School of Medicine and Population Health and the School of Allied Health Professions, Nursing and Midwifery.
As a Professor of Public Health and Social Pharmacy you will support the wider teaching on Pharmacy and Prescribing, and lead and oversee the design and development of the non-clinical pharmacy curriculum across the Faculty. You will be responsible for overseeing successful student recruitment, ensuring a consistently high-quality of teaching and learning across the programme and actively undertake research that generates external research income in your field of expertise.
We are looking for a creative senior leader who can provide support to others and lead on independent and collaborative research activity which aligns with the Faculty, School and University’s research priorities.
The successful candidate must be clinically qualified with evidence of extensive HEI educational experience and in-depth knowledge of Pharmacy programme structures and accreditation requirements.
We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
