The School of Art, Design and Performance is seeking to appoint an experienced practitioner to contribute to our BA (Hons) Hair and Make-Up for Film and Performance, and MA Special Effects for Film and TV courses. Appointment at SL level requires taking on Course Leadership responsibilities of the MA SFX course.
The successful candidate should be able to evidence subject knowledge of special effects make-up and prosthetics for the film, performance and creative industries. They will be responsible for ensuring the enhancement and informed relevancy of the course to applied industry needs, towards an excellent student experience. They should also have a track record of inspirational teaching at UK HE undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
