The role
We are looking to appoint an Administrator to join our Disability Services Team, to provide administrative support to a high standard of accuracy, with a strong commitment to improving student experience by providing appropriate reasonable adjustments for students under the Equality Act 2010.
Working within a dynamic team of Administrators and reporting to the Administration & Support Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the University’s commitment to working with disabled students and University staff.
What will you be doing?
The role focuses on assisting the Service to improve our disabled students experience and supporting students to successfully complete their programmes of study.
With a focus on the accessibility of teaching and assessment, the Service recommends suitable adjustments to help to remove the barriers that disabled students may face and makes recommendations to staff on how to improve overall disability inclusion. The Support & Administration team assist with the administration, organisation, and financing of this support.
We support an inclusive culture and value the diversity of our staff and students. It is important that our staff group represent the diverse population of students that we support.
You should apply if
We are looking for someone with excellent IT, organisational and customer service skills, with a flexible and team-based approach to working with disabled students.
If you are keen to join a service that is creative, motivated, and focused on making a difference to students, then we look forward to hearing from you.
The role will be based in Hampton House with some scope for blended working in line with University and local Service policy and guidance.
