An exciting opportunity exists to join the School of Engineering in the permanent role of Director of Student Experience. This post will bridge academic, pastoral and administrative aspects of our taught undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, further enhancing and sustaining the high quality of experience for our ca. 1600 students. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for coordinating the strategic development activities relating to enhancement of the student experience in the School.
While the position is teaching-focused, as part of your role we will strongly encourage and support you in the pursuit of individual scholarly and/or pedagogical research to contribute to the lively research culture of the School.
This position is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing and vibrant department at Warwick with an excellent research environment and high student satisfaction.
Informal enquiries can be made to Prof. Georgia Kremmyda (Head of Teaching, School of Engineering, g.kremmyda@warwick.ac.uk).
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
Applications from candidates in groups underrepresented in the Engineering sector are particularly welcome. The University aims to promote work life balance for all employees and the School of Engineering will consider a range of possible flexible working arrangements in order to recruit the best candidate.
