Job description
The Department of Theology and Religious Studies at King’s College London is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Theology and the Arts starting on 1 September 2024. In this role you will strengthen the department’s longstanding reputation for innovative theology and ethics in service to the public good, and theology and the arts. You will have expertise in an area of the arts in the broadest sense, including architecture, dance, the decorative arts, film, literature, music, theatre, and the visual arts (where we have existing strength). You will teach a range of modules at BA and MA, play an active role in the management of the department, and work closely with the Centre for the Study of Art and the Sacred within the Department to ensure that King’s remains an international point of reference in this area.
We welcome applications from members of groups that have been marginalized on any grounds. King’s is an inclusive and welcoming place to work and study, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation.
