Job description

We are after passionate, gifted and creative educators with skills in Games Art to join our rapidly expanding Games team to teach our provision at FE level.

You will have the skills to work in at least one or more of the following areas –

  • Asset Production for Games
  • Concept Art Production
  • Traditional Art and Design

You will have industry related skills and be a great team player along with some of the following:

  • Experience in the use of software such as Adobe Photoshop.
  • Understanding and experience of traditional art techniques with particular focus on drawing of anatomy and environments.
  • Understanding and experience of Concept Art production.
  • Understanding of the Game Art Pipeline.
  • Understanding of Asset Production for Games.

From planning lessons and preparing resources for designated programmes and modules to delivering enriching sessions and activities, and supporting students through group and individual tutorials, our tutors are at the heart of the student experience.

It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will be educated to degree level (or have appropriate industry experience) and hold a recognised teaching qualification (or be prepared to study for one). If you have the attitude and desire to work in a varied, dynamic environment and believe in an industry shaping vocational provision then we can guarantee, you will play a key role in our success.
