Our research includes understanding more about people and the planet, and whether compassion-based approaches might offer a solution to the wellbeing and mental health crisis in education.

The Impact you will have

You will be responsible for developing and delivering an innovative and flexible range of learning and teaching materials for our Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) training program; working with our undergraduate and post graduate students. Through research and practice informed teaching that embraces a range of theoretical approaches and working with many organisations and agencies across the region, you will be committed to providing an excellent student experience.

What we need you to bring to the team

  • To hold full accreditation with BABCP (high intensity practitioner)
  • To hold a PG Diploma or Masters in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (high intensity)
  • Experience of working with adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties in a secondary care setting, using CBT informed approaches
  • To be innovative and creative 
  • Ability to use a range of delivery techniques to inspire and engage students
