The University of Reading is looking to appoint Teaching & Learning Manager for EIT Food Learning Services. The University has world-leading expertise in agriculture, food and nutrition and is a founding member and Strategic Partner in EIT Food, the world’s largest and most dynamic food innovation community. The University is a partner in EIT Food Learning Services, a first in it’s kind pan-European assessment process for professional training programmes and certification for learners. This assessment service provides an internationally recognised mark of excellence in professional education and training programmes within the agrifood system.

As the Teaching & Learning Manager, you will be expected to bring your extensive experience of education and learning design, particularly in non-formal, informal and workplace-based learning, working closely with the EIT Food Learning Services Programme Manager  (Head Office based in Leuven, Belgium) and the wider EIT Food Education Team who are distributed across Europe, to manage the development and enhancement of professional non-degree education and training within EIT Food.

You will be expected to work with stakeholders from across the EIT Food Ecosystem to ensure that the professional education and training activities which are included in the EIT Food course catalogue meet the highest quality standards expected as defined within the EIT Label for non-degree education and training, meeting a genuine sector need which will enhance the success of ventures stemming from education programmes.
