SITS Analyst/Developer

Guildhall School is a prestigious, specialist higher education institution with taught degree awarding powers, looking for a skilled SITS analyst/developer to develop and maintain the School’s student records system (SITS). 

As the School is a small institution, the role holder’s duties will be wide ranging. The role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience across the entirety of the SITS database and student lifecycle and develop major student records projects. The role holder will be part of a small SITS team which is part of a larger Registry team and will work with staff across the School. 

The successful role holder will need to have skills and experience with SITS system tools and advanced IT skills with knowledge of at least two of the following:  

• HTML and CSS, or
• Javascript/JQuery, or
• SQL, or
• other experience of querying and analysing large and complex datasets for communication to a variety of audiences (eg HESA, HESES) 

High levels of numeracy, excellent attention to detail, demonstrable experience of working to multiple deadlines and effective communication are also essential.
