The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama are seeking two Administrators to provide student facing administration and support the day-to-day operations of the School’s Student Centre.

The Student Centre is the home of Central’s student support services, which include the Neuro-Inclusion and Disability Service (NDS) and the Student Advice Service (SAS). These two roles would administratively support the work of their respective service and work closely together as the front of house for the Centre. There is an expectation that the two role-holders will engage with mutual cover and work collaboratively in administrating the Student Centre.

Central is an international leader for professional drama, theatre and performance-related courses and you will have the opportunity to work with students and staff at our campus located at Swiss Cottage. This role will be delivered primarily in-person on campus, with some flexibility for from home working. 

Student Centre Administrator (NDS)

Full time, 1.0 FTE, Permanent

Salary Grade 4 £32,516 - £35,822 per annum including London Weighting. 

As the Student Centre Administrator (NDS), you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operation of the Neuro-Inclusion and Disability Service and Student Centre. You will provide a friendly, responsive and sensitive front-line service to the student population as a member of the Student Centre team.

In order to be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have a proven track record of managing complex administration, 
  • Understand and have knowledge of the DSA processes, experience of processing financial paperwork and disability data. 
  • Be adept at working with a variety of stakeholders and dealing with students in crisis.   

Student Centre Administrator (SAS)

Full time, 1.0 FTE, Permanent

Salary Grade 4 £32,516 - £35,822 per annum including London Weighting. 

As the Student Centre Administrator (SAS), you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operation of the Student Advice Service and Student Centre.

The role is fast paced and wide-ranging, with a particular emphasis in the area of student well-being. Duties will include providing frontline support to all students, providing reliable administrative support to staff within the Student Centre (including; the Health, Wellbeing and Support for Study Procedures, informal Complaint and Disciplinary matters, note taking sensitive meetings, Intercollegiate Halls room allocation, the Hardship fund applications and Crisis Loan process, student status letter requests, SAS inbox management, Support Advisor triaging, to name a few).
