My Home Life England (www.myhomelife.org.uk) is part of City, University of London, and part of an international My Home Life movement. We have agreed a new strategy, supporting our development as a enabler of positive change in care homes and other care settings across England, through delivering high-quality local and national training, consultancy, research and social action. Our stakeholders include health and social care organisations. We are a small team that makes a big difference.

Responsibilities

The Programme Manager (South) role is an exciting post with a focus on co-coordinating and delivering our professional support programmes for care sector leaders. A part of the role will be working with our associates and facilitator team, supporting the development of positive practice, innovation and quality of life within care homes and other care settings. The postholder will be working with key stakeholders across health and social care in the South of England.

Person Specification

The post holder will have excellent knowledge of health and social care and its relevance to care homes and other care settings. The post holder should have experience of running and organising local workshops as a facilitator with a focus on coaching and development.

This post is minimum 0.6 FTE (21 hours per week)

The ability to work flexibly, outside of core hours and travel extensively will be required.
