Marketing Officer

Reports to Title: Head of Marketing and Communications

Role Purpose

The Marketing officer will support the Head of Marketing and Communications and work with Directors of Studies, Academic Coordinators, and Student Representatives to implement and evaluate marketing and communications campaigns that support all of Metanoia’s programmes. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing strategic marketing campaigns, executing tactical campaign elements including but not limited to social media campaigns, email marketing pieces, website updates, advertising, print, brand elements, and copywriting.
  • Collaborate with staff across the Institute to create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, website, and print materials.
  • Create and update marketing and promotional graphics and presentations for relevant events using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Collaborate with Directors of Studies to organise open events online and in person to promote the Institute’s programmes.
  • Implement marketing campaigns to promote CPD offerings and workshops.
  • Manage and update the Institute’s website and social media accounts.
  • Assist in the production of promotional materials and publications.
  • Produce reports on campaign results, conversion rates, website traffic, and social engagement to help shape future marketing campaigns.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or related discipline, and/or ideally 3-5 years of experience in marketing, particularly within higher education or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to adapt style to Metanoia’s evolving voice and tone.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), social media platforms, website management services, digital marketing software, and traditional tools like Microsoft Office.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple marketing campaigns and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interest in and curiosity for counselling, psychotherapy, and related fields is highly
