Summary of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the University of Exeter (Camborne School of Mines and the Business School) in a new International Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Resource Management in the Circular Economy. The Centre will work with the UN Economic Commission for Europe to encourage use of the UN Resource Management System. The centre, which will formally open in April 2024, is a collaboration between the University of Exeter and University College London (UCL), Brunel University, Swansea University and the British Geological Survey. The University of Exeter will concentrate on data for the circular economy (see CE-Hub.org, NICER CE-data observatory) and critical minerals (see Met4Tech.org and www.exeter.ac.uk/csm). We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible person who can deliver a variety of activities including case studies and other research related to the UN Resource Management System, organise and deliver teaching and training, help manage the new ICE activities, seek funding for new activities, make new collaborative links, and be an advocate for circular economy and the UNRMS.
