The Chester Medical School is an exciting new development within the University of Chester, which delivers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical medicine, medical and biomedical sciences.

Chester Medical School wish to appoint a laboratory research technician to work with Dr Claire Lucas on her leukaemia research projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for projects running in laboratories. This would include overseeing day to day operations, maintaining supplies, servicing equipment, developing new protocols and providing support and guidance for students and staff using the laboratories.

The successful candidate will have significant experience, and proficiency in biomedical/cell biology/ molecular techniques, particularly, tissue/cell culture, flow cytometry and PCR.
