We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for communication to join our respected Internal Communications team as Internal Communications Officer. Sitting within our dynamic, collaborative and impactful Communications & Engagement department, this role plays a key role managing internal staff communication activities across LSHTM that foster a thriving and inclusive staff community.
Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you will work to increase the reach and engagement of existing activities, work closely with the Internal Communications Manager and colleagues to develop new campaigns and initiatives that support key objectives in LSHTM’s strategy, and create and implement internal communications and change communications action plans.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, and permanent based in London and is subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.
Who we’re looking for
You must be educated to a degree level or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience of delivering communications within a higher education institution or another large organisation. You will have proven experience of effectively managing communications for an organisation, developing communications plans for strategic projects, and advising on and delivering communications for change programmes. You will have the opportunity to work in the ways that most suit your work, personal situation and the needs of our School. In line with our Hybrid Working Framework, you would be expected to attend LSHTM’s buildings 8 days per month on average (pro rata for part-time staff).
You will also be based in our brand-new, state-of-the-art Tavistock Place building, which provides high-quality, flexible and sustainable working space for our staff.
