Lecturer in History

0.25 FTE, Fixed Term: August 2024 to June 2025

We are actively seeking an outstanding Lecturer in History (0.25 FTE) to become a valued member of our close-knit, highly skilled team.

Newbattle Abbey College has a proud track record of meeting the needs of adults and young people at points of transition, helping them to change their lives for the better. Nestled within an 12th-century Cistercian monastery, our 125-acre parkland and woodland setting creates a college environment like no other.

The Lecturer in History will initially be responsible for teaching on our access programmes, including the Scottish Widening Access Programme, and the Associate Degree in Social Sciences. This role will encompass teaching across various disciplines within the social sciences.
