About us
The UCL Department of Information Studies offers postgraduate qualifications for the library and information professions, collaborates in the delivery of an inter-faculty BSc in Information Management for Business and is launching a new BSc Information in Society degree at UCL East from 2024. We also have a strong international reputation for research.

About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) to start on 1 September 2024 teaching mainly on our postgraduate Library and Information Studies (LIS) programme, with the possibility of some undergraduate teaching.

About you
We are particularly interested in applicants who could contribute to teaching within any of the broad areas or sectors of library and information studies, including but not limited to: physical, historical and digital collections; library management; library technologies; scholarly communication; information behaviour and information literacy; cataloguing and classification; and critical approaches to library and information work.
