Digital & Technology Services are seeking to fill an exciting opportunity within our Service Delivery function. Working as a member of the IT Operations Physical Environment Team (PET), you will be providing administrative support for PET and the wider IT Operations Team. Your duties will include administering the university’s mobile device fleet, co-ordinating purchases/delivery, managing queries, processing regular supplier invoices and credit notes for passing to Finance, and collating and submitting a number of monthly recharge journals to Finance for processing.

We’re looking for an individual who is a good communicator who is organised and able to work on their own initiative within the remit of the role. You’ll need a high level of accuracy and IT skills, ideally with previous experience undertaking a similar customer-facing role although training in specific applications and processes will be provided.

Please note that this role needs to be primarily based on campus as you need to co-ordinate deliveries and sending out to remote campus locations in the internal mail.

This is a fixed-term position available for 2 years. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may also be considered.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.

Please note that from 1st May the salary scale for this level will increase to £23,736 to £26,608.
