Position Overview:

The Digital Marketing Manager at ArtsEd plays a pivotal role in devising and implementing a dynamic digital marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the incumbent collaborates with the marketing team to enhance ArtsEd's profile, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and recruitment targets. The role encompasses diverse responsibilities spanning digital marketing, design, recruitment, social media, website management, market analysis, and event planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing:

Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, optimizing user funnels and utilizing platforms like Meta and Google Ads. Collaborate across departments to identify storytelling opportunities and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all platforms. Monitor and respond to social media communications.

Design & Brand:

Safeguard the ArtsEd brand, ensuring its correct usage internally and externally. Maintain accuracy and relevance of digital content while championing diversity and inclusion. Manage the image library and uphold visual identity across touchpoints.

Graphic Design:

Create print and digital advertising materials, design digital signage, and support print production processes.

Recruitment:

Lead the implementation of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimize student and pupil recruitment. Manage recruitment events and activities, oversee email marketing, and supervise marketing collateral production.

Social Media:

Develop and execute a social media plan aligned with the overall marketing strategy. Create engaging content, schedule posts, and launch short-form video content. Stay updated on social media trends and manage digital advertising.

Website:

Manage all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring relevance and reflecting the institution's unique offerings. Conduct SEO, analyze analytics, and identify opportunities for content creation and updates.

Market Analysis/Planning:

Review data to identify market trends, competitor tactics, and opportunities for improvement. Conduct surveys, measure campaign performance, and stay abreast of online marketing trends.

Events:

Collaborate on planning and executing events such as auditions and open evenings.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Fulfil any reasonable duties as requested.
  • Demonstrate commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Provide line management for direct reports.

Person Specification:

Experience: Proven experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on digital marketing. Knowledge of the education and performing arts sector is preferred.

Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, self-motivation, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making.
