We have a new exciting opportunity to join our friendly People & Culture Team here at the University of Cumbria. Our People and Culture team is not only key to the successful development and implementation of HR work streams but also builds on the team's achievements over an extensive period. At Cumbria our people are fantastic!
This is a great time to join a University where significant investment and transformational change is taking place meaning you will be involved in supporting the implementation of People and Culture projects from the start. We are looking to bring additional skills to the team, to support the implementation of projects within our People & Culture strategy.

You will bring with you experience in delivering people initiatives that enable business growth and championing a progressive, engaging, and inclusive culture.
As Assistant Business Partner, you will work collaterally with HRBP colleagues and the wider People & Culture team to support employee engagement and enhancing our student experience further. In either role, you will bring experience of working within an HR team and provide expert advice and guidance to managers. You will need knowledge of HR best practices with a personal commitment to deliver an engaging, and inclusive culture.
We offer Hybrid working arrangements (min 3 days on campus) in line with business needs. If you are interested in bringing your experience, knowledge, and positive approach to an ambitious University that changes lives, then we are keen to hear from you.
