The University of Buckingham has a unique atmosphere, unlike that of any other higher educational institution. Despite being the UK’s smallest university and the only independent university to hold a Royal Charter, Buckingham has staff from over 60 countries, making it a truly distinctive work environment. Based on our beautiful Buckingham campus, you will be sure to feel a part of our friendly community. Our size enables us to foster a very personalised, supportive, inclusive and collaborative environment, with lots of opportunity for development, something which we are very proud of.
The Digital Transformation programme will deliver fit for purpose enterprise-wide connected solutions with the associated change process. It will establish foundations for future growth and development by providing solutions across Professional Services and Academic disciplines that ensure the University can function in the most efficient and productive way, whilst ensuring that the student experience is second to none.
A core project is evaluating the existing Student Management System and related operations, and assessing developments required to meet the University’s future needs. Working with the Director of Digital Transformation, you will play a significant role in supporting the University’s strategic aims by delivering the future way of working and systems used for the administration, governance, and reporting of the overall student journey, and in shaping the future of all functions directly involved.
You will bring expertise in systems project and change management to determine requirements, evaluate options to assess and design best practice processes, and to plan and deliver data-driven solutions, streamlined reporting and analysis and exceptional services for our students.
