About the role
The Staffing Assistant will play an active role in ensuring the smooth functioning of a range of HR-related functions. A significant responsibility for this role will be the timely and accurate processing of timesheets, as well as assisting in all aspects of the recruitment process.
The Staffing Assistant will also assist the Senior Staffing Officer in the effective running of the Engineering Faculty Office’s recruitment processes including:
Providing recruiting managers with the paperwork and guidance information to aid with the short-listing and interview processes.
Processing timesheets for Post-Graduate Teaching Assistants and Interns, entering data accurately and efficiently onto UCL HR systems.
Assisting in the annual recruitment process of Post-Graduate Teaching Assistants for the Integrated Engineering Programme.
The role will be fixed term for 12 months. Current UCL staff can apply for this post as a Secondment.
About you
The postholder must have the ability to work independently, proactively and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to changing priorities and a proven ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
An understanding of the confidential nature of the work and the ability to deal with sensitive information in a professional manner.
