Job Summary
Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Fellow at ST6 level to join the Section for Endocrinology, in the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction at Imperial College London working with Professor Tricia Tan.
This post is funded through the Section funds. A Clinical Research Fellow is sought to conduct clinical research and to support the research programme investigating the glucose variability in people who are pregnant following bariatric surgery. The project will cover both clinical and laboratory-based work investigating the mechanisms and role of gut hormones in metabolism.
Duties and responsibilities
The post holder will hold an honorary clinical contract with the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and will be expected to take clinical responsibilities appropriate to their level of experience and expertise. The post hold is expected to design, conduct, evaluate and supervise clinical and lab-based research independently, attend meetings and report progress on the project, (written and oral) both within Imperial and externally.
